Dog shuts down company server

Taking the Nintendo
Thursday, 2 August 2007, 08:17
A RECEPTIONIST at Action Tools who took her lap dog to work was fired after the mutt bought down the company's computer system.

Lori Stint had only been at work for two weeks and had popped into the office on her day off to pick up her first salary.

Apparently while she was chatting to someone else her dog wandered off and had a Nintendo on the company's small floor computer rack server.

According to the Lancaster Times the small online hand tool company's files went under in a puff of urine smelling smoke.

Action Tools owner Dan Wallace saw what the dog did and fired Stint on the spot. So a short stint at the company then.

Fortunately most of the new company's computer data was backed up and no orders were lost but it took a few days to get everything up and running again.
