Intel in the dark about 3GHz Pentium 4 glitch

Doesn't know what Canterwood problem is

A FORMAL REQUEST from the INQUIRER to Intel to discover what the problem with the Canterwood/3GHz is, drew a curious response today.

A representative from the company said: "We are still in the process to understand and resolve the issues and cannot provide more details".

So it appears that Intel is in much in the dark as anyone else is.

So if it's not Beancountergate, as we suggested yesterday, perhaps it is that Canterwood is an anagram of Andrew Coot and he has filed an injunction to prevent Intel from using his name. µ
