And, claims the site, a Dothan running at 2.4GHz with single DDR 333 memory can compete favourably with the Athlon 64 Socket 939 at the same clock speed using dual DDR 400.
The site believes that with more cooling than it's currently using, it's likely to be a doddle to get the 2GHz Pentium M chip to 2.8GHz, and perhaps even to 3GHz in the next few weeks.
As well as clocking the 2GHz chip to 2.4GHz, the site also overclocked a 1.7GHz Dothan chip to 2GHz. It warns that if you try this at home you may bust your Dothan britches.
