Tukwila, which has been on Intel's roadmaps for quite some time, has eight plus one spare core, which are connected by two counter rotating rings, making it the first links based member of the IA-64 family.

We do hope that Intel is still pouring money into its Israeli R&D center, because from what we're hearing, shorter pipelines make for finer chips, and the guys and girls over there sure know what they're doing on that front. µ
