Intec says covergence with a print

But it's Jackson Pollock's

GIVEN THAT a picture is reputedly worth more than a 1,000 words, billing specialist, Intec, obviously thought that giving its best customer – mobile operator 3 UK – a framed print would be a jolly good idea.

The print was specially selected for its title – Convergence: Number 10. Intec's hope is that the title will emphasise its key feature – converged billing.

The pair claim that five years' worth of using a single billing system has aided 3's success in acquiring customers and offering some innovative tariffs to its subscribers.

One 3 employee told the INQ, "It's great to have just one billing system compared to the twelve separate systems one of our competitors struggle with." Sadly, he wouldn't name names.

The only snag with the print, however, is that it's one of Jackson Pollock's. Which in Cockney rhyming slang has a completely different - and unfortunate - meaning.

Intec had a secret weapon, though. It treated the assembled hacks to a relative river of cocktails including some superb Havana-based Mojitos expecting them to forget the whole event.

Luckily, the INQ managed to come away with the photographic evidence. µ
