Glitch in system causes duplicate Paypal cash withdrawals

A SERIES OF filings on the Ebay general forum indicates a problem with the Paypal system, it appears.

A number of members reported withdrawing sums from their Paypal cards, only to have the same amount deducted again. And sometimes yet again.

Numerous members report the problem in the forums, here, and quite a few of them have contacted Paypal to try and solve the problem.

Some said that Paypal reps they've talked to have been able to reverse the transactions, while others said they've been told the matter will have to be investigated. One said: "I was told the reps can't do anything. It has to go to the investigating department... I've been double and triple charged for three separate grocery stores, three different banks." µ
