DAN'S DATA and Bit Tech both review the Magic sticker aka the Battery activator. Both reviews are more than sceptical about this battery enhancer. 4Bit tech suspects that it might be a piece of black sticky tape with some glitter stuck on top while Dan pokes a joke or two at the product.

Firingsquad has a very interesting article on Advanced PC system building 301 with various tips and hints to be used when building your next rig. Nothing spectacular but nice to have all of them in an article.

Xbitlabs brings the Abit Fatal1ty AN8 review to us. Many websites have reviewed it before but Xbitlabs goes in slightly more details over 15 pages. They find a few flaws in it and give it their editor's choice as the best PCI socket 939 platform.

ULI chipsets are far and between a rarity, except at Asrock where they seem to have a special relationship with ULI. OCworkbench tests the Asrock 939A8X-M which features the ULI M1689 chipset. It is a no frill mATX motherboard with up to eight USB ports and some more features including overclocking ones.

Akibahira news testes the fantastic looking Sharp Muramasa CV-50F, a 880g laptop which is situated somewhere between a laptop and a PDA. It is based on a Transpmeta CPU and even features a Radeon video card and a Windows XP.

Bjorn reviews the Leadtek Winfast PX6600GT TDH both in solo and in SLI modes. The retail card has a good software bundle, supports HDTV, does not require an additional power connection and overclocks nicely at more than 12%. They seemed to be quite satisfied as they gave it 85%. Bjorn also visits the Xoxide X-treme case which at first sight ressembles an overgrown Xbox. It has four handles and loads of speace inside as well as a large rear fan. Good case but a little bit fragile says bjorn. µ

Do you think the move was justified?
