They write, we read, you resonate

THE HD DVD marketeers have declared the war between it and the Blu-ray camp is over.

It claimed that 60 per cent of all the high definition set top players sold use the HD DVD format.

It said people have bought 150,000 dedicated HD DVD players with a four to one movie "attach rate" over competing formats, that is to say Blu-ray.

According to the chairman of the group, "Toshiba's latest promotional efforts are clearly resonating with consumers," which certainly sounds interesting.

We think that means HD DVD players are cheaper rather than people experiencing some weird Tesla effect. ยต
