Here's our own story about the launch of the SIS Xabre 600, complete with competitive chart.
Little SIS today says its SIS Xabre600 is no longer secret. Those that signed NDAs in order to fiddle with the product up until now, on the undertaking they kept schtumm include:
Lost Circuits who find the first mass-produced 0.13 µm graphics card pretty interesting. The Xabre600, is turbocharged to a "whopping" synchronous 300MHz core/memory clock and like its predecessor - the Xabre400 - features hardware pixel shaders but does vertex shading in hardware optimized software to scale vertex performance with CPU power, they say. Wibble over here.
The Hexers must have been fiddling with their version of the card for a while now too. The Xabre 600 will be worthy opposition for the likes of Nvidia MX440 and Radeon 9000, they reckon, over here.
SiS might seem like an unlikely candidate to have the first 0.13-micron desktop GPU, say the Tech Reporters, "but they were also the first to support AGP 8X with the Xabre's initial launch, so they're no stranger to pushing the envelope," they reckon. There's more here.
Hothardware also check out the new Xabre over here.
As does OCWorkbench over here.
In other matters, Sudhian has had a twiddle with no less than seven KT400 mainboards. That kicks off proper over here.
Reader Greg Sowell "humbly" asks us to point at his very first article. It's a seasonal modder's delight: USB fairly light Coo!. Wibble on over here.
The Geeks at I Am Not A Geek have posted, a review of the Thermaltake Fan Speed RPM Switch over here.
And DataFuse.net enjoy banging about in a Enlight's EN8900 server case, sporting a 420Watt PSU, over here.
You can nail the Wibbler here. µ
