STAR VAULT has announced the impending release of a new online fantasy combat called Mortal Online.
Looking very much like a highly-polished World of Warcraft, the trailer which was created using the in-game Unreal Tournament engine, promises greater things to come.
Star Vault reckons the gameplay will be different in a few ways. There are no PvP zones and the heavily combat-skewed gameplay takes place in an open and realistic world where you are free to choose your own path.
Other promised features include the ability to build your own house, or set up a guild to build a castle or keep.
The biggest difference we can see is that some major realtime events will be a one-time-only occurrence, meaning that, if you miss that massive legendary monster with the unique items and treasure, there's no point waiting for it to respawn. Once it's dead... it's dead.

I was very disappointed when i installed UT3.
The graphics looked washed out with a really annoying blue or yellow tint.. it goes away if you turn the graphics to the lowest setting.. but then of course it looks like crap. UT2004 looks WAY better i think and that is just sad.

Also, for MMO(RP)G's, it usually is more important that the graphics run acceptably on 2+ year old systems that where not even top of the line when they where new.
WOW does that (while still looking good), UT3 doesn't (while looking like of a POS)
