Last minute Christmas shopping ideas revealed

Gingerbread laptops and other daft confectionary
Sun Dec 19 2004, 06:55
WITH CHRISTMAS now just a week away, it's high time many of us started on the festive food rush. There's plenty of seasonal cheer to be had.

If you enjoyed our Half-Life 2 cookies last week, you will be amazed at the lunacy that is going on in other quarters.

Perhaps you'd like a gingerbread SLI configuration on a gingerbread motherboard with a gingerbread cooler and electronics comprised of various smarties and licquorice allsorts? You might like to try here then.

How about a gingerbread laptop, running a fully patched Windows XP v 1.c1ng? This masterpiece of sugary goodness is here.

If you think your iPod is looking a little bland, why not tart it up in a Christmas stocking or give it some custom graphics? Apple's iPod socks have some real-world testing done on target="_blank">this page. Alternatively, if Hello Kitty is more your thing, why not have an iMakeover following the guide on Engagdet?

Lastly, if you're feeling a bit randy this Christmas - and with all those stockings, who wouldn't? - head over to Playboy, where you will find a selection of free soft pornography for your iPod photo, so you can show mum your collection of holiday snaps and keep Uncle Joe quiet at the same time. A story on the snaps is here. ยต
