Dim dicks are on Pirate Bay's tail

Watching the defectives
Wednesday, 21 November 2007, 08:18

THE ADMINISTRATORS of the P2P site, Pirate Bay, claim they are being followed by private investigators which are so stupid they make the Keystone cops look like a crack outfit.

Apparently the Admins every move is being watched by camera-toting private dicks who drive around in cars marked with Danish licence plates.

If that did not make them stick out a mile, the would-be Sam Spades are taking photographs with flash from inside their cars. Not only does this say 'hello we are talking a photograph' to the targets it also means that each snap will be spoilt by having the flashlight reflected off the window.

Peter Sunde, a Pirate bay admin, told the Arse Technica magazine that he thinks that the antics of the private investigators are the work of Prince, the artist formally known as symbol, who was formally known as Prince, formally known as Prince Rogers Nelson, and more generally called short-arsed plonker.

The 'little red corvette' of the music industry wants to sue Pirate Bay for allowing his over sensualised popular beat performances to be pirated.

Quite how Prince, 49, thinks that snapping Pirate Bay admins buying a meat pie and chips for lunch is going to provide him with evidence. As Pirate Bay points out, everything its admins do , which is remotely interesting, is on a server and could not be photographed even if it posed.

Prince?

Geez... that guy should be happy by the fact that someone still listens to his music, *and* troubles him/herself to share it...

Copyright this short-arse!

TPB Admins should take a leaf out of Prince's leaflet.

Copyright their image! Any image or likeness of their image is then subject to the laws of copyright for which his royal shrimpness has to pay a Princely sum!

In the beginning

At first we had some lycos MP3 search engine and FTP ratio bonanza...
But that was closed down...Lycos never got that popular again...

Then we gots really smart with napster... but that was sued to bits...it was never that popular since.

Along came Kazaa, Bear-share, iMesh, Morpheus and e-donkey
But after some time most of those were shut down or spoiled to the point of uselessness...

Then the big whopper hit, suprnova.org
Sure there were others...but that was really one of the pioneers of mass torrenting. (if such a thing exists)
So again they close it down. (they being legal authorities spurred by mass RIAA/MPAA and the likes)

So then we got mininova, torrentspy, thepiratebay, isohunt, demonoid (until recently) and a boat load of new torrent sites.

What have the RIAA/MPAA/CRIA and their ilk achieved?

Every time they shut one down, 10 spring up.

Not to even mention what goes on in smaller forums and FTPs (yes those are still used)

The problem has grown beyond a measure of control that is currently possible, wake up & stop wasting money with such stupid attempts.

Prince is obviously...

...a retard.
He's probably trying to make the Pirate Bay admin feel awkward by putting them under constant watch, in the vain hope of making them crack and cave in to pressure. They probably have no intention of taking any "evidence" of any sort.

I loved the "arse technica" joke by the way :)
