A MAN IS CLAIMING TO BE SELLING a new and sealed copy of Windows XP 64 bit Edition on Ebay UK.

The bid has reached 99 pence so far, and he claims the software comes with its own unused product key.

The software, he claims, is only compatible with 64-bit Opterons or Athlon 64s, and won't work on Itaniums.

It might work on Prescotts if anyone can figure out a way to switch the 64-bitness of the Intel chips on.
