Truphone slashes VoIP calling

Talk for nothing, call your chick for free
Fri Oct 12 2007, 12:17

THAT ARCH exponent of VoIP telephony, Truphone, has been slashing its call prices again. So if you want to call INQ hack, Fernando Cassia, cellphone in Argentina you're now saving yourself 48 per cent.

Another favourite destination for INQ hacks, Croatia is now 34 per cent cheaper but Truphone points out that its average price for calls to mobile phones in EU countries is now 15 pence or below.
But the biggest bargains must be calls to handsets in the USA, Canada, China, Singapore and Hong Kong. They still cost absolutely nothing. That's right – you can call somebody's mobile in the States and the call will be free.

Given how many high tech firms are based in North America, this is something of a bargain.

The INQ's not sure whether Truphone is simply passing its own savings onto customers by making these price cuts or whether it's an indication that the mobile VoIP sector is getting overcrowded.
Since you can download the Truphone app to your Nokia for free – who cares? µ

I have been using Voipbuster for over a year now & have had few problems, if any.
Check out Voipbuster, they are far CHEAPER.
You want to check out their RATES, its straight forward, the same can not be said of TRUEPHONE, its hidden away under small print "link"
I think these guys are all "smoke & mirrors".
