Intel prices up Yonah microprocessors

Intel Roadmaps As Buddha said, everything changes

ROADMAPS SEEN by the INQ show the stock keeping units (SKUs) and the prices Intel will charge for its Yonah single and dual core processors when they're launched early next year.

Aswell as dual and single core Yonahs, Intel will also offer LV (low voltage) and ULV (ultra low voltage) versions of the microprocessors.

The notes to its customers we've seen show that as we've reported before, Intel is confident it can deliver the Yonah family during January, rather than the vaguer first quarter it promised before.

The Intel/PRO wireless component for this package, the 3945ABG, will be priced up at $25 for the same launch date.

Not all the former Pentium Ms will disappear into the void. Intel intends to release a 2MB, 400MGz 1.30GHz processor numbered the 773 in January, too.

And it will also release a Celeron M processor, the 390, clocking at 1.70GHz but only with 1MB of cache, in early January. At that time, the 380 and the 370 will drop in price. µ
