The deja entendu-ism has appeared in G2 News, which says the powers are pondering AIX, which they've wanted to destroy for years, the magazine alleges.
Mind you, it takes IBM years to kill off anything, doesn't it?
Bullets from IBM guns tend to fly at the speed of a bumble bee, like the humble bumble bee's flight itself, a conundrum of avionics.
Like when we tried to suggest that maybe IBM should kill OS/2, someone fired the Big Blue pistol and the bullet still hasn't managed to fully penetrate the body of the OS and kill it stone dead.
So we guess that AIX is in the same position - has seen the first puffs of smoke emerge from the rifle of the IBM pistol, and is busying itself making hay until the projectile hits it with a resounding tickle, by which time it will already be dead.
