Sony recalls Vaio batteries

ELECTRONICS GIANT Sony is to recall 90,000 batteries for Vaio notebooks in Japan and China, said the Wall Street Journal.

No mention was made of batteries for Vaio notebooks outside these countries.

Looks like this picture, below, is turning out to be a little bit expensive. It also begs questions about how confident people will feel about buying notebooks in the future.

Just a few years back, Intel was trying to convince us all that fuel cells for notebooks were the way to go. Seems like there's still some way to go. µ
