Intel's Barrett attacks Indian government

Delays caused it to look beyond borders
Tuesday, 4 September 2007, 10:30
A REPORT claimed that Intel chairman Craig Barrett accused the Indian government of being dilatory in producing plans to help it build fabs in the country.

According to Money Control India, Barrett said the government hadn't adequately documented its plans when Intel first started negotations.

By the time the Indian government had got its act together, Intel had already plumped for Vietnam and China. ยต
