Advertising is the rattling of a stick inside a swill bucket - George Orwell
In the past couple of years, the industry has witnessed a recall of over 15 million batteries for notebooks, and the number certainly won't stop there. The latest manufacturer set to make a further recall this Tuesday is Dell, my sources claim.
While the number isn't finalised yet, it's a big number, our source claims. Dell is prepping all of the sales and marketing people "to battle stations", so that the switch goes smoothly and without negative publicity.
According to my source, the announcement, slated for Tuesday, is based on the pure physics of battery cells in notebooks. I will have more on this anon. Dell was not available at press time to comment. µ
