VIA'S BRINGING out a brand spanking new mainboard designed especially for healthcare, retail, and industrial applications.

The Via EPIA NR Nano-ITX supposedly offers "unrivalled" storage as well as native dual LVDS support. It's powered by a fanless 1.0GHz VIA C7 processor and sports a VIA CX700 system media processor to keep the kit on the quiet side.

It's a small package, being only 12cm x 12cm, and is the first Nano-ITX mainboard to natively support LVDS in a dual channel monitor configuration without a "daughterboard." Good for those after two displays.

Serial ATA and IDE hard drive connectors are supplied as well as Compact Flash for all yer local OS storage needs. Broadband Ethernet, a mini PCI port, USB2.0, COM, LPC and Super I/O headers can all be found on the board.

If you fancy one you're going to have to wait for its limited quantities early next month. µ
