Sapphire X1950 PRO turns blue

Da Vinci Code
Wednesday, 18 October 2006, 11:47
SAPPHIRE just announced its Radeon X1950PRO - a single slot card that rocks at 580MHz core, 80 nanometres of course and with the memory clocked at 1400MHz. The card uses DDR3 with 256 bit interface and has the whole 256MB of it.

It has DVI / DVI / VIVO and the best of all it has a blue cooler. Traditionally Sapphire cards were red but not this time. Sapphire ships the Da Vinci Code game with the card. The new Crossfire connector is a two way street and the driver will make one card master and second slave. How neat.

The card natively supports HDCP and Avivo High defection marchitecture and is of course vista ready. This is how the blue alien looks. But the R600 is somehow still like the Da Vinci Code. ยต
