Weekly Folly
Good week for complaining this week. First we had the revenge of the gottverdamnt pop up windows on Delphi. I always like it when viewing a web page can crash your browser with java errors. Ohh those Java errors, how I'd missed thee. Then we had the damn red & white flashing banner (which made a surprise guest appearance again later in the week), annoying? Yup!. Then there was the attack of the killer sigs. Or was that killed sigs. There were many other bitches as well, everything from the Inq itself, to Andrew's good sense and leadership, especially his choice as to who he delegates his authority to.

Sid's Poofy Ginger Scooter Well things took of here this week. Mainly talk about my new geeky job. Head on over if your interested in that sort of thing. Near the end of the week, talk between the Striped arsed badger and Frnht on motorcycle licensing in GB. Later on there was a little bitching at our resident automotive engineer SDMYHIENEY. Then we near ended up with a discussion between Frnht and I, trying to reconcile Global warming and the six inches of ice we have on everything around these here parts.

That blinking red&white banner ad Started off the complaining early with Adrian, do we think maybe his lack of sleep is making him cranky. You now those Auusies have to sleep during the day and work at night because they're in the southern henisphere. Though I must say just about everyone agreed with him. I know I hate the @($^@*& thing. Eventually it lead to add blocking software, and how we love it. Between this and the pop-up window threads I think Proximitron got a link posted 28 times this week. Our local Aussie came back in asking to have the joke punch lines explained to him. I have to say, poking fun of Aussies is a pastime we just don't partake in often enough. We ended the week off with some car racing talk, yet another pastime that has been out of vogue for far to long.

Do you like graphical sigs? Well this was definitely the high volume thread of the week. Bunch of folks from some other geek forum came in trying to rile us up. The topic really says it all, and the opinion amongst the regulars was pretty anonymous. If you're looking for some big annoying graphical sigs, this would not be the place to go… anymore.

Should Almor Stimsal feck off? The least annoying of the big sig gits. And the only one with a sense of humor.

Dullards!! Starting off with a KrAP pointer to the home of the SigGits. We got bored talking about them quickly (they are dullards). First off topic was about the striped arsed badger's blind roommate. The Dullards tried to bring it back on topic, but we weren't biting.

Office document properties I'd write about the first bit but my eyes kept glazing over and I kept nodding off. Later on we got down to some hardcore insulting. That was a helluva lot more fun than talking about stupid document properties.

MultiMediaCards Kenny came in asking for technical help, will anyone here ever learn? This lot is about as helpful as a tire fire. For the most part this was our twaddle thread. All sorts of miscellaneous ramblings.

Rumor has it the SigGits were looking for a mention in the FNG Roll car. Hopefully they have found out differently. Summary would have been better this week, but my severe lack of brownies is taking a toll on me.

Mmmm, Mike. That was written a week ago... A week.

As far as ginger hair. Love it. My mother and four of her sisters were what we call redheads. Or auburn, according what they were getting rid of the grey with. Most of my cousins on her side of the family were redheads. A female type cousin and I were the only tow heads (dishwaterblondes). We got our share of teasing because of it. Course the laugh is on them now cause I'm the only one with most of his hair left. So in a few years you won't have to worry about it. It all falls out and all you'll have is memories and and few hairs in a comb you've kept for a momento..
