Sony intros 7.2 megapixel Cybershot digicam

CONSUMER ELECTRONICS Leviathan Sony said it has introduced a sub $500 digital camera which will fit in your top
pocket.
The Cybershot DSC P150 will capture images up to 3072 by 2304 pixels, is less than an inch thick, and uses a Zeiss Vario Tessar 3X optical zoom lens. Sony claims the digicam will snap up to 310 pics per charge using the 1.8-inch LCD panel built into the unit.
Sony will also sell you a "marine pack"
which will let those of you who dive snap the bottom of the Thames or even take pictures of tadpoles or newts in your
own local village pond, while the landlubbers are playing "cricket".
The P150 comes with a 32MB memory stick media card, includes an infrared remote controller and has a base price of less than $500, the firm said. µ
