Gates to generate your electricity

Your next power Bill is coming
Fri Nov 03 2006, 12:04
NOT CONTENT with owning your desktop, server, browser and games console, Bill Gates wants to own your electricity.

His personal investment vehicle -- a nice drive if you can afford it -- Cascade Investments is today expected to partner with New Mexico-based PNM Resources on electricity generation and trading.

Gates's vast wealth is no new thing of course. Way back in 1999, one genius was able to write that: "If the Harvard drop-out was to stash his cash in dollar bills under the mattress in the $56 million 'smart' home on Lake Washington, near Seattle, where he lives with his wife Melinda and daughter, he would have to parachute 16 miles down to his bedroom floor every morning."

By the way, does anybody notice the similarities between this story and my previous effort? Truly, the world is getting smaller. µ
