MACAU'S VENETIAN JUST had a grand opening, but as is usual with these casino, entertainment and conference complexes, casinos are just a small part of creating the local buzz. The real cash comes with those that flock to the conferences.

We have no doubt the owners of Macau Venetian wanted to find something for the lucrative IT crowd, and it seems that they have found an answer. The draw for the IT crowd to Macau is the brainchild of a couple of lads we've known for years now. The guys decided to spark interest for B2B conferences in Asia by hosting the very first one, so they have to deal with a rather untapped market.

A new website should come online in next couple of days

Arcadia.IT is the name of the first IT Business-2-Business conference in that corner of Asia and will be held between April 14-17th in the Macau Venetian. The conference is now getting ready to launch a web-site, and from the looks of it, it seems that these guys picked up an ideal location and timeframe, since Macau isn't hellishly boiling during April. µ
