WASABI SYSTEMS DID IT AGAIN at IDF, and had the poutiest booth babes of the show. Yes, the boys from Wasabi strut their NetBSD stuffed wares in the vendor are, look at them strike a pose.

While sex sells, so does a great product idea. Wasabi does not disappoint here either. The Wasabi dance squad did it again with the release of their Storage Builder 1500i line. These products are loaded onto a compact flash card, and plugged into an IDE slot with an adaptor.

The software then boots into a secure NetBSD environment and turns the device into an iSCSI target. Need a NAS array? Plug it in and turn the box on. Brutally simple, really easy, and very smart. Worth it's weight in gold, probably more too. µ
