THE NEXT FRONT SIDE bus from Intel will run at 667MHz but motherboards implementing this up-and-coming standard are already for sale.

Sources claimed that Gigabyte has started shipping the GA-8P667U, a socket N based motherboard that comes with AC6, USB 2.0, RAID support and integrated 10/100 Ethernet on board.

The product already sells in Eastern Europe for a distributor price of around $135, the source claimed.

October the 7th is believed to be Intel's chipset jamboree day. µ
