Loyal employee that [Paul] Engel was... - Tim Jackson, Inside Intel page 130
The chaps at the store claim that their OcUK GeForce 7900 GTO SILENT 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - OEM (GX-041-OK) is more or less identical to any other 7900 GTX on the market but it is roughly £50-90 cheaper than any other. Its memory is clocked slower but it doesn't affect the performance that much.
It is a 24 pipeline G71 core clocked at 650MHz just as it is with Geforce 7900 GTX but the memory works at 1320MHz, while that on the GTX works at 1600MHz. Many chaps at forums confirmed that GTO runs at this speed as you can easily overclock the memory to meet or surpass the GTX speed.
IF you go to the bottom of the page you will find one here and we also learned that you can flash a 7900 GTX bios and it works well as the GTX.
We think it is a heck of a card for the money. µ
