When [Otellini] joined the company in 1974, most people didn't even know what a PC was - From the Wall St Journal 11-11-2004
VIA HAD a bunch of goodies at CES, one of which we have already told you about, the Pico Bayard PC. That is not the only thing it had, you can do a lot with a complete mobo just barely bigger than a business card.
Tiny full function PC
The first one is a tiny case called the Travla. You can see how small it is, but it will run XP and quite possibly the broken OS as well. It is easily pocketable, and takes almost no power.
Half inch tall PC
If that is a little small for your tastes, or you don't want a light breeze to blow your computer around, try this one on for size, it is quite a bit bigger but also has more outs, DVI, USB and audio. For those of you wanting a solid auto PC, this is your box.
The most significant phone at CES
Last up we have the second generation of the OpenMoko phone hardware, also known as the FIC Neo1973. This one might just change the world, it is a truly open phone, something that is just a gleam in Google's eye right now.
When we last told you about this, they were a little optimistic, had some teething problems, and in general, got hit by the learning curve. Now the second gen hardware is done, and it looks good. Faster CPU, two accelerometers and a GPU round out the changes, but are far from the only good parts. As soon as the software is done, they will be on sale. µ
I see four holes on that second PC? Are those for mounting it to a LCD via VESA mounting?

I just had to ask this -

Why do you have a business card with a line "This space intentionally left blank" on it?

Is it for future advertising? ;-))

Charlie,

Will you quit the gags with the A4 business cards, you're not fooling anyone!
Is there any more info on these DPCs (diminuitive PCs)?

Links appreciated!
