Abit makes uncertified $70 million loss

DIGITIMES CLAIMED that mobo maker Abit turned in a US$70 million loss for 2004, but its accounts remain uncertified.

The wire said the certified accountant was unable to endorse the data on Abit's financial report. The Taiwan stock exchange is asking Abit to make changes to the report.
