The EFF says that its class action will hit the NSA's largest private collaborator in the wallet.
The NSA has admitted to data mining the contents of Internet and telephone communications for suspicious names, numbers, and words. This is then used to identify persons who may be linked to suspicious activities, suspected terrorists or other investigatory targets.
The only problem seems to be that AT&T can claim that it was only obeying orders. NSA was using state secrets privilege which means that the Goverment can prevent any evidence getting to a court.
