A COCK-UP on the Wal-Mart web site seems to have listed a price of $284 for Microsoft's answer to the iPod.

According to ABC, the price for the 30-gigabyte media player, Zune, would place it $16 below Apple's 30-gigabyte iPod offering.

Wal-Mart has since taken down the price and said that it was "incorrectly and inadvertently" listed. However most observers think that the price could probably be about right.

Zune has a larger screen than the iPod and built in wireless technology. But Apple fans dismiss the product, which can't run television shows or movies, as pretty pointless. Then again they would wouldn't they. µ
