Quad FX70,72,74 and an Asus board go etail

NEWEGG is about to announce availability of Asus Quad FX motherboard and the CPU bundle.

At first, you will have to buy two CPUs with a motherboard but afterwards you should be free as a bird to be creative with the combinations.

The board is branded as Asus L1N64-SLI. It boasts 7.1 sound, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, Dual PCI-E MB and will take any SLI cards or a single ATI card.

The board should end up priced at $349 but is likely to drop very soon to suggested $299 while the CPUs will costs $999 for two FX74, $799 for two FX72 and $599 for the slowest FX70s.

If you were saving for these systems then you still have a chance to get them before Yule but it will be tight. Some systems have been available since AMD's Quad launch date. We will let you know when Newegg decides to put this offer up. The firm has supplies and you can only hope these will last until you get there.
