ATI gets to $19.80

Nvidia gets to $20.22
Tue Jul 25 2006, 16:34
WALL STREET went into a tizzy after AMD said it would buy ATI yesterday, and several kinks emerged in related stocks.

For example, Nvidia was so bullish about the whole thing that its share price has recovered, and currently stands at $20.22.

The AMD guys are going to be a bit happier today too, because its share price has crawled up to $17.80 after a steady decline on the rumours and news.

Meanwhile INTC is also up 14 cents today to stand at $17.62.

One thing puzzles us - perhaps our readers can shed some light on this. Wasn't there a tale some years ago that ATI and Intel cross licensed graphics tech to each other. What happens to that deal now? µ
