AMD64 SPEC 2000 benchmarks show turn of speed

ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES has now delivered its official Opteron SPEC results, and they're looking pretty good on
paper.
It has also submitted SPECint figures compiled with gcc, and as a posting at Ace's forum points out, some are in 32-bit and some in 64-bit, while all use a 64-bit operating system.
Here are the SPEC CPU2000 results, which top Dell Xeon and other processors. µ
* MEANWHILE, AMD Zone has noticed an odd coincidence which shows that Dell seems to be closely following in AMD's footsteps for a series of projected roadshows.
