Fabless chip firm makes it into top 10

ANOTHER DAY, another top 10 semiconductor firms. Here below we have Isuppli's ranking of top 10 semi firms in
the second quarter of this year.
The firm said Qualcomm is in its top 10 for the first time, and, said the firm, this is the first time a totally fabless firm has got into the league.
The top three remain the top three and if real men have fabs then Intel, TI and Samsung are real men.
Sony disappeared out of Isuppli's rankings completely for the second quarter this year. µ
