IN ITS PUSH TO MAKE CLEVERER processors, Intel is hyping hyperthreading. Why have those transistors sitting around idly doing nothing while the rest of the chip is beavering away like a cockerel in a chicken coop, asks Chipzilla.

Extremetech takes a look at the trend over here. "One of the most interesting recent advances for mainstream processors," they reckon.
