AMD injects extras into core maths library

CHIP FIRM AMD has made available its core maths library version 4.0.
The firm said ACML (AMD core maths library), provides extra support for multithreading and high performance computers.
It supports Solaris, Linux and Windows and is free from AMD.
The library includes routines which are specifically aimed at AMD 64 microprocessors and will support Barcelonas and Phenoms, when they emerge. µ
