FABLESS SEMI firm Nvidia (NVDA) saw its share price fall by 47 cents after Citigroup issued a "hold" notice on its stock. The share price stands at $18.68 at press time.

Not that its competitors are necessarily doing a great deal better. Equally fabless ATI (ATYT) was down 21 cents and stands at $15.44, Intel (INTC) was down 39 cents to stand at $18.28, while AMD fell 37 cents to $22.61.

Apparently a wave of enthusiasm from KLA Tencor at the Semicon conference yesterday caused the knees to jerk upwards. Rambus (RMBS) fell 58 cents to $22.81.

Reality or perhaps uncertainty has calmed down fevered investors.

On the OEM front, Dell was down 61 cents to $22.81 - it will make a pricing announcement at a conference call tomorrow.

Hewlett Packard was also down - to 22 cents, standing at $32.32 at press time. µ
