Asda cuts PS2 price to fifty quid

ME MATE DAVE has been waiting for this for ages.

Asda today cut its price for a PS2 to fifty quid.

It's not clear how many of the firm's 316 UK stores have the elderly console in stock, but those that do will bracing themselves for the great unwashed to stumble through their doors. And folk like Dave.

Gaming industry mag MCV yesterday asked an Asda worker what the story was.

"Yes, we will be selling PS2s for 50 quid tomorrow morning. But I'd get here as early as you can if I were you. We're expecting a massive response once word gets out - and we've only got a certain number available." µ
