Dungeon Siege II demo released to public

And bugger me, it's massive

I REMEMBER A TIME WHEN I had a conversation with a friend where we were both agape at the fact that a game required 15MB of hard drive space. Now Microsoft Game Studios have come along and released a demo for hotly anticipated role-playing game Dungeon Siege II that is a whopping 1.4GB.

In this age of political correctness when it comes to ratings we should point out that the demo is rated by the ESRB as “M” and only for those over the age of 17. We'd also point out to you that if you can buy the bloody thing over the counter it might be wishful thinking to say that the age gates on some of the download mirrors will keep 16 year olds out by making them slip up and enter the wrong birth date into the form provided. Ohh, don't mind me rambling on, just trying to fill the time between you starting the download and finishing it. Did I ever tell you about the time I got run over by a tractor? Very funny story, really... [That would explain a thing or two -Ed.]
