Gateway to close stores this week

A RE-ORGANISATION following the marriage of Emachines and Gateway is likely to mean the closure of some US stores of the brand that mooed, according to sources.

Last week the management of Gateway was comprehensively re-vamped, with Ted Waitt still up there at the top, but the rest of the crew nearly all Emachine lieutenants.

According to the sources, the changes are likely to happen this Thursday, and deals with Best Buy are are up for discussion too.

Gateway could not be contacted for confirmation at press time. µ
