One of our X86 chips is missing

MemoryLogix drops out

WE HAD A NOTE from the folk who organise the Microprocessor Forum to thank us for our roundup of the forthcoming jamboree, but also to warn us one of the more interesting participants has dropped out.

MemoryLogix, a new and mysterious firm, was to have talked about the introduction of an X86 embedded core which is the same size as low cost embedded cores.

The blurb also said that this would be a "Pentium" compatible X86 chip. But according to MDR, which runs the exhibition, the section on MemoryLogix "has been pulled from the conference" and made it to the Web site before the programme could be corrected.

We thought that MemoryLogix looked like one of the more interesting announcements - new X86 stuff, eh?

The www.memorylogix.com site is "under construction" courtsey of Elan Research. A search on Google for MemoryLogix produces nowt.

The MemoryLogix.com address was registered by Michael Song earlier this year, as is elanresearch.com. ยต
