Swedish geekettes take on male gamers

APPARENTLY it's not only socially challenged boys that spend all their time LAN gaming.

Shuttle tells us there's a team of seven females from Sweden that waste their time playing crap like Counterstrike when they could be out having fun and binge drinking instead.

The occasion for Shuttle telling us this is that the quines will use its lunch box sized XPCs from now on.

Shuttle quotes a lass called Louise Thomsen as saying that her team - called Les Seules - wants to show the rest of the world that guys and girls can play on the same level.

Further, Les Seules practice online for five hours a day, six days a week. Couldn't Les Seules do something useful like join the Swedish army and prepare to make Sweden the vast European empire it once was? Inquiring minds want to know.

We asked Shuttle why the web site for Les Seules is based in Denmark, which as far as we know isn't part of the Swedish empire, just like Iceland isn't part of the Danish empire.

Shuttle said it's because the website sponsor who made the site originated from Denmark. So that clears that one up then. µ
