NEW RESEARCH reveals that almost three quarters of IT workers have dodgy eyesight. Recruitment site theitjob.com found that 72 per cent of IT staff are as blind as bats and need to wear glasses.

Corrine Dauncey from the ITjob.com suggests: "Maybe IT employees love working with computers so much that they are more likely to use their computers when they get home in the evenings. Without being offensive to the IT industry, the combination of the two could result in the individuals straining their eyes and therefore needing glasses."

As a doctor, I am often asked about press releases issued during August which have absolutely no news content whatsoever. Medical experts refer this malady as Warrens Syndrome. This is brought on by intense pressure from clients forcing PR bunnies to issue releases against their will or be fired. There is no known cure. µ
