The wire said two models - a 3.60GHz and a 3.40GHz Pentium 4 have appeared for sale in boxed configurations, although availability for the 3.60GHz model is still constrained.
It adds that Nocona server chips supporting EM64T have been for sale for some time, but this is the first appearance of desktop chips - which Intel is currently targeting at the workstation market.
