Kingmax claims DDR micro-DIMM lead

Not-so-dimm-kingmax-module MEMORY FIRM Kingmax said it has introduced a DDR micro memory module with a capacity of 512MB, aimed at the sub notebook market.

The 226/333 module is aimed at small notebooks such as the Sony PCG-TR1/B and the Panasonic "Let's Note" series, which are now becoming available using Intel Centrino technology.

The "tinyBGA" 172 pin packaging for these memory modules are also available in 256MB modules in both 266 and 333 configurations, said Kingmax. µ
