Asus swaps shares to get into camera biz

GIANT TAIWANESE CORP Asus will take a 13 per cent share into digicam firm Ability.

That will give Asus the chance to diversify its business by getting into the OEM business.

It's a share only transaction - for every 1.71 shares Asus gets of Ability shares, the cam company will get one. And Asus will issue nearly 30 million new shares to account for the deal. µ
