Google Earth sees naked people

In the shadow of Dutch Parliament

NEWSGROUPS are all a flutter after eagle-eyed Google Earth users claimed to have found satellite snaps of naked sunbathers.

Two people, one a man and the other a woman, can be seen in satellite pictures of the Hague.

One of the sun bathers was spotted by a bloke who was looking for his favourite pub. All perfectly innocent stuff, but probably something they did not want seen by a spying Google satellite, he thought.

According to the various news groups that discuss such things, the pictures were taken in the early morning in spring.

Unfortunately, for the satellite voyeurs, they may be experiencing an optical illusion. If you take into account the area of the rooftop the 'sunbathers' are sitting on, they must be about nine foot tall.

We would have thought that nine foot naked people would probably have been noticed by more people than the odd satellite, even in the Hague.
