FedEX planes go supersonic

Package arrives before you send it, almost

* TO THE many readers who wrote in to point out time zones are involved in the equation, the answer is yeah, we know. Thanks for writing though.

THE EFFICIENCY OF FedEX is legendary - hey, any firm which has got a white arrow incorporated on the right hand side of its logo is almost sure to always hit the marque.

But a source sends us a tracking chit which shows that FedEX must be employing superduper technology which means that its two day service, as the crow flies, means a package was delivered from Indianopolis to Oakland, CA, in only one hour and 41 minutes.

The screenshot is below, sans information that might prove sensitive. Well done FedEX! Kindly use your technology for other sorts of baggage, like us poor long suffering passengers, or "geese" as the fright attendants like to call us these days.

If you can TelePORT us, it would be even better. µ

Truly-astonishing

Time Zones

I guess you didn't factor in that Indianapolis is an Eastern time zone, so the FedEx plane had to cross time three zones (each an hour behind) to reach California. That may be why the package appears to have gotten there so fast.

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
